ITEMM was invited to join the panel “Micro Solar Financing and Policies” in the programming of Pernambuco on Climate 2015, held in Recife.
Participating on the panel were Ana Mascarenhas (Energy Efficiency Manager CELPE); Jackson Rocha (president of AGEFEPE); William Sirkis (vice president of ABSolar) and Jocelino Azevedo (ITEMM researcher).
ITEMM stressed the importance of developing energy storage systems (ESS) in a country that is extending the participation of generation from fluctuating renewable sources (solar, photovoltaic and wind) in its energy matrix, with some projects and concepts for development of technology in Brazil.
